Cerus Markets - Credit/Debit Card Deposit Tutorial
This document provides a step by step guide on how to deposit using credit/debit cards with Cerus Markets.
Detailed Information: This method provides credit/debit deposit and withdrawal options to Cerus Markets clients.
Deposit amount (minimum/maximum): $60.00 USD / $5,000 USD
Withdrawal amount (minimum/maximum): $100.00 USD / No limit
Step 1: To initiate a deposit, log in to your Cerus Markets Client Portal and click the “Deposit” button on the top right of your dashboard.
Step 2: This is the first page which opens when the Deposit button is clicked. In order to deposit via credit/debit card, click on the icon with credit card and crypto wallets picture (where the cursor is hovering).
Step 3: Selecting the highlighted option in step 2 will take you to this page. There are various options to deposit funds as seen in the image above, select the first option from the left which says Visa Electron. Please note that the icon for this option will keep on changing and might show Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club, Union Pay,Discover etc as all these providers are supported by Cerus Markets. Continue by adding all the required details such as card number, expiry date & CVV.
In case you have successfully deposited using this method before, you will be able to see the earlier used credit/debit card in the dropdown as seen in the screenshot above.
Step 4: Select the desired currency that you wish to deposit in and add in the amount that you wish to deposit into your account. A minimum deposit amount of USD 60 is required to process the transaction and the system will not process transactions lower than this amount.
Step 5: Following the screenshot from above, in case the deposit amount is in a different currency, like shown above in THB,the exchange rates, minimum and maximum amounts and the conversion of the entered amount in USD are shown on this page. In case the entered amount is below the minimum amount, the cell is highlighted and the minimum amount required to deposit in the local currency is shown in yellow below the cell. Click on deposit once all the details are filled out.
Once all the details are added correctly in the page, a new window opens showing the transaction request has gone through to the cardholder’s bank, no need to click anywhere on this window as a new pop up window will open automatically.
Step 6: A new pop up window opens as seen in the screenshot above, this is the 3DS secure page where an additional OTP is to be entered which is sent to the card holder’s email address or registered phone number with the card issuer. This is an additional layer of security to keep the card holder safe of any fraudulent transactions.
Step 7: Once the 3DS step is completed by entering the OTP and the transaction successfully goes through, you will be redirected to the approval page as seen in screenshot above. The transaction status, amount and trace ID is shown on this page, the transaction can be tracked with this ID.
